No student, teacher, or parent personal data
Kaylisting does not collect, store, or process any individual student's personal data. There is no student roster, no attendance records, no fee/payment records, and no per-student academic or achievement records anywhere on the platform. Homework, classwork, and notices are scoped to a class and section — never to a named student — and achievements broadcast to parents are school-wide only. Teachers are identified only by a school-assigned employee code, and parent logins are system-generated credentials issued by the School Admin, not tied to any name, phone number, or specific child — so Kaylisting has no way to identify, or link any login session to, a specific person or family beyond the login itself.
What Kaylisting provides — and what your school controls
Kaylisting is a school broadcasting platform: School Admins and Teachers manage staff, academic structure, homework, and classwork, then broadcast notices, events, homework, classwork, and school-wide achievements to parents through individual, non-identifying parent logins issued by the School Admin. Kaylisting operates the underlying platform (hosting, security, uptime). Your school — through its School Admin — has complete administrative access to and control over its own data on the platform: staff, academic structure, homework, and every other record covered here. Kaylisting acts as the platform operator, not as an editor or reviewer of what your school records or broadcasts. Your school is responsible for the accuracy of the data it enters and broadcasts, and for who it grants access to within its own account.
Accounts
School Admin and Teacher accounts are created and managed by your school; parent logins are issued and reset by your School Admin, one per parent, each a system-generated credential rather than an account tied to a name or phone number. Keep passwords confidential, and enable two-factor authentication from your account's security page if you'd like an extra layer of protection. You're responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
This platform is for school administration and broadcasting school updates to parents — academics, homework, notices, events, achievements, and related communication. Don't use it to access data you're not authorized to see, attempt to bypass any access controls, broadcast content that isn't appropriate for a school setting, or share parent login credentials outside the parents of your own school.
Subscription payments
Your school's subscription to Kaylisting is paid outside the app: pay via the UPI QR code shown on your billing page, then submit the payment's transaction reference (UTR) there — the platform operator verifies it against their own bank records and activates your plan. We don't process card payments or hold payment credentials.
Account termination
If your school's account is suspended for non-payment and stays inactive, it is archived rather than deleted — your data stays intact and recoverable. Once your school has enrolled even one real teacher, its account can never be permanently deleted by the platform operator, only archived; permanent deletion only ever applies to an account that was created but never actually used at all.
